The 2019 annual meeting was held in Eugene, OR, with a kick off at the PDX tea festival. The conference included growers, researchers and enthusiasts from across the country. We talked about the latest research, the benefits of growing this miraculous plant, processing techniques, and field preparation.

The agenda included:

- Trips to local tea farms, including Minto Island Farm

- Presentations from UC Davis' Global Tea Initiative

- Tea processing workshop by Jason McDonald

- Tasting US grown tea
