One of the things that has always fascinated me about the tea world is how helpful and friendly tea drinkers are.  I am assuming it’s all those healthy antioxidants.  Case in point…I saw a picture that Liam Ball, of Na Liko Tea, had posted to Facebook of his planting of hundreds of tea plants using a bathtub and he and I chatted for a few minutes via the magical internet.  He doesn’t know me.  I don’t know him.  But within minutes he had sent me this Germinating Guide from the University of Hawaii – Germinating2.  It’s a simple, one page guide for beginner’s like me.  Since the process can take a while, I’m not sure if I have successfully started my seeds but I will keep you posted.  And thanks Liam!  In an effort to pay it forward, I hope this simple guide helps a few of you with growing US tea!
